The terms for using this website and attending AycLive.
1.About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the official AycLive website (ayclive.co.uk) and set out the rules and conditions of entry for attending the AycLive music festival at the OakLeaf Sports Complex in Newton Aycliffe.
By purchasing a ticket, holding an event wristband, or entering the festival site, you agree to comply with these terms, as well as any venue regulations set out by Ayclive CIC and Durham County Council licensing authorities.
2.Tickets
- Authorised Sales: Tickets and pre-orders (such as campervan passes or merchandise) must only be purchased through our official ticketing partner (Atrevo) via our official website storefront. Tickets obtained through unauthorised third-party sellers or secondary ticketing websites are invalid and will be cancelled without a refund or compensation.
- Pass Issuance: Tickets are issued digitally (including digital Apple Passes and QR codes) and delivered to the email address specified at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are correct upon booking.
- Non-Transferability: Tickets are non-transferable and must not be resold for commercial gain, secondary profit, or used as part of unauthorised promotional competitions or giveaways.
- Age Categories & Minors: All attendees must hold a valid ticket corresponding to their age group. Children and young attendees must be accompanied on-site by a responsible adult aged 18 or over for the duration of the festival.
3.Entry & conditions
- Right of Admission: Ayclive CIC reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any person from the festival site who fails to comply with event rules, exhibits disruptive or unsafe behaviour, or appears excessively intoxicated.
- Security Searches: Mandatory bag searches and security checks will be conducted at the festival gates by authorised security personnel. Entry will be denied to anyone refusing a security search.
- Proof of Age: Proof of age and identity (valid photocard driver’s licence or passport) may be requested upon entry or when purchasing alcohol at licensed site bars, operating under Challenge 25 principles.
- Wristband Exchange: Digital tickets will be scanned upon arrival and exchanged for an official AycLive event wristband. Wristbands must be worn securely around the wrist at all times. Damaged, cut, or tampered wristbands will be rendered invalid.
4.Prohibited items
For the safety, security, and comfort of all attendees, the following items are strictly prohibited on the festival site:
- Glass Containers: No glass bottles, drinking glasses, or glass containers of any kind are permitted on site.
- Outside Alcohol: Alcohol brought from outside the festival site is strictly prohibited; a wide range of licensed bars are available inside the event.
- Illegal Substances: Illegal drugs, psychoactive substances, novel psychoactive substances, or nitrous oxide canisters.
- Pyrotechnics & Hazards: Flares, fireworks, smoke canisters, open fires, barbecues, or gas canisters.
- Weapons & Sharp Objects: Any item deemed dangerous, sharp, or capable of causing harm by security staff.
- Unauthorised Recording Equipment & Drones: Professional audio/visual recording gear, detachable camera lenses, or drones.
Any prohibited items found during gate searches will be confiscated and disposed of without liability.
5.Re-entry
- Gate Cut-off Times: Re-entry to the festival site is governed by strict licensing conditions. Final entry and re-entry cut-off times will be published on our website prior to the event weekend.
- Wristband Verification: Re-entry is permitted only for attendees wearing a valid, undamaged AycLive wristband.
- Re-Searching: Any attendee re-entering the festival ground will be subject to security searches at the gates upon each entry.
6.Changes & cancellation
- Lineup & Schedule: Festival line-ups, performance times, and stage schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Refunds will not be issued due to changes in artist billing, set times, or individual performance cancellations.
- Event Cancellation: In the event that AycLive 2027 is cancelled in its entirety prior to the festival start date, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the face value of their tickets. Booking, handling, or transaction fees are non-refundable.
- Postponement: If the festival is rescheduled to an alternative date, existing tickets will remain valid for the new date. Ticket holders unable to attend the rescheduled date will be offered a refund within a specified application window.
7.Liability
- Personal Property: Ayclive CIC and the venue operator accept no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought onto the festival site or left inside vehicles parked on venue grounds.
- Personal Safety & Hearing: Attendees are responsible for their own safety and well-being. Sound levels at live music stages may cause hearing damage; appropriate ear protection is recommended, particularly for young children.
- CCTV & Event Media: CCTV is in operation across the festival site for safety, security, and crowd management purposes. By attending AycLive, you consent to being photographed or filmed as part of general crowd footage used for official festival recap videos and promotional marketing.
