Keeping itgreen
We want the field to look like we were never there, and for Oaklef to be glad we came. AycLive is built on respecting our local venue and looking after the environment so we can keep bringing great live music to County Durham for years to come.

Our plans
Here’s what we’re looking at for 2027. We’ll update this page as plans are confirmed.
-
Dedicated recycling points
Clearly marked recycling hubs are located across the site, making it quick to sort waste on the go.
-
Free water refill stations
Stay hydrated all weekend for free without buying plastic bottles. Refill points are situated around the arena.
-
Eco-friendly bar service
Our bars serve drinks in reusable or compostable cups, cutting single-use plastic waste across the whole weekend.
-
Low-carbon travel choices
Get here sustainably with ease using our free shuttle buses, safe cycle storage, or local walking routes.

How you can help
Small things add up when there’s a whole field of us.
-
Leave the car
Hop on our free festival shuttle bus, walk, or cycle to the OakLeaf Sports Complex. It cuts down emissions and saves you worrying about parking.
-
Bring a bottle
Pack an empty reusable water bottle and fill up for free at our hydration stations throughout the day.
-
Take it home
Use the bin hubs around the field and take all your belongings home with you at the end of the night. Leave nothing behind but footprints.
-
