Our commitment to making this website usable for as many people as possible.
1.Our commitment
At AycLive, we believe live music and community events should be open and accessible to everyone. We are committed to making our website and digital ticket store usable for as many visitors as possible, regardless of physical or cognitive ability, technology, or browser choice.
We continually strive to improve the user experience across all digital channels. While we endeavour to make the site and booking engine as accessible as possible, we recognise there may be instances where certain features fall short. If you spot an area we can improve, please get in touch to let us know.
2.Compliance status
To help deliver a clear and accessible experience, we have designed the site and ticketing interface to incorporate the following features:
- Display Modes: Our Atrevo booking engine supports both light and dark display modes to accommodate user viewing preferences and reduce visual strain.
- Partial Keyboard Navigation: Keyboard controls are integrated across key website features such as, interactive media galleries.
- Clear Typography & Contrast: Colour choices and text sizes have been selected to ensure strong contrast and readability throughout.
- Responsive Layout: The layout adjusts seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices without losing text or core functionality.
3.Known issues
While we work hard to ensure the entire website and ticket engine are fully accessible, we recognise that some areas have technical limitations:
- Site-Wide Keyboard Integration: While interactive components like image galleries, lightbox viewers, and navigation menus support keyboard interaction, keyboard integration is not yet consistent across the entire website. Certain steps within the Atrevo booking engine or third-party widgets may still require a mouse or touchscreen.
- Third-Party Content & Embeds: External media players (such as embedded Spotify artist playlists or YouTube festival recaps) may not be fully under our control and may present accessibility barriers for some users.
- Interactive Maps & Schedules: Visual festival site maps or stage timetables may be challenging to navigate using screen readers alone. Text-based alternatives for site directions and stage times are provided wherever possible.
- PDFs & Downloads: Older promotional downloads or venue maps may not fully comply with PDF accessibility standards.
We are actively working alongside our design and development partners to expand full keyboard navigation site-wide ahead of upcoming festival releases.
4.Feedback & contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the AycLive website and ticket booking engine. If you encounter any barriers, find an area we can improve, or would like to request event details or documents in an alternative format (such as large print or text-only formats), please get in touch:

- Post: Ayclive CIC, OakLeaf Sports Complex, School Aycliffe Lane, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, DL5 6QZ
We aim to respond to all accessibility queries and requests within 5 working days.
5.Enforcement
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’).
If you make a complaint to us about website accessibility and are not satisfied with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) via their website at www.equalityadvisoryservice.com.
6.How we tested
This website and its integrated Atrevo booking engine were evaluated through manual testing during the build phase ahead of the 2027 ticket store release. Testing involved hands-on navigation checks using keyboards and screen readers across desktop and mobile browsers (including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) to verify readability, page structure, and key interactive features.
