Not-for-profit
Communityimpact
AycLive is put on by Ayclive CIC, a not-for-profit run entirely by volunteers. It’s a festival by the community, for the community.
By locals, for localsNo faceless promoter
Run by the community
AycLive isn’t built to lining the pockets of faceless promoters or outside corporate shareholders. We operate as a registered Community Interest Company (Ayclive CIC), which means every single ticket sold, drink bought, and partnership formed goes directly back into making the festival better, fairer, and more accessible for our attendees.
-
Not-for-profit
Ayclive CIC is a community interest company.
-
Volunteer-led
Run entirely by local volunteers.
-
All ages
A festival the whole family can come to.
-
Local first
Local traders, local acts, local crew.
Every ticket counts
Where the money goes
As a not-for-profit, what we make goes back into the festival and the community. Every penny stays right here in County Durham.
-
Affordable fun for local families
We know times are tough, so keeping ticket prices low is our top priority. We work hard to deliver maximum value, bringing world-class headliners to our stage alongside a field packed with free entertainment, family activities, and music across every genre.
-
Funding the festival experience
Putting on a major weekend event takes serious groundwork. Reinvesting our revenue lets us secure brilliant live acts, hire high-spec staging, sound, and lighting, maintain top-tier site security, and run our free town shuttle buses all weekend long.
-
Supporting local businesses & crew
We prioritise regional suppliers, local food vendors, independent bars, and North East staging teams. Every pound you spend at AycLive directly supports small businesses, local acts, and independent workers right here in our region.
-
Giving back to our community
As a genuine not-for-profit, we don't hold onto excess margins. Any surplus profit is reinvested directly into future community projects, local youth initiatives, and regional charities that make a real difference across County Durham.
