Our record-breaking Saturday
We expanded to a brilliant two-day party drawing 2,000 festival-goers to the field! Friday night kicked off under the big tent with Clubland Reborn alongside DJ Nathan Abbott, DJ Tom Gibson, and DJ Martin Guy. Saturday saw 80s pop icon Nik Kershaw headline a massive crowd, supported by The Breakfast Club, Kaiser Monkey Killers, That's So 90's, Ska-Boom UK, The Fourmost, Tamla Allstars, and The Overthinkers. With a silent disco, circus workshops, and non-stop sunshine, it was a proper summer singalong!

Year two, and soul legends The Real Thing topped the bill to a massive field! We brought over 10 hours of live music featuring Manchester Anthems, Fossil, Beyond Madness, The Angelettes, That's What I Call 80s, The Turtle Z's, and Jukebox Vandals. Plus, we debuted the all-new Disco Circus featuring a silent disco, circus skills, and silent karaoke. 2024 proved once and for all that Newton Aycliffe really does love a singalong!

Where it all began
The very first AycLive! Celebrating Newton Aycliffe's 75th Anniversary, 1,000 festival-goers gathered on the sports field for a non-profit, community-powered party. 90s Britpop icons Cast and Dodgy co-headlined our inaugural stage, backed by a cracking lineup featuring Breakfast Club, Ska Boom, Sound Divide, Northern Soul Elite, Another Crisis, and Sleeze Sisters. Not bad for our first go!
