A Family-Friendly Celebration of Music and Community

Ayclive Festival has quickly become a highlight of Newton Aycliffe’s summer calendar, offering a unique blend of music, entertainment, and community spirit. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to creating a truly family-friendly event that caters to all ages. Here’s why Ayclive is the perfect day out for families:

We understand that family outings can be costly, which is why we’ve worked hard to keep our ticket prices accessible:

– Under 5s: Free entry

– Children 5-13: Just £1

– Teens 14-17: Max £17 (inc booking fee)

These affordable prices ensure that families can enjoy a full day of entertainment without breaking the bank.

Our silent disco tent is a hub of activity throughout Saturday, featuring:

– Children’s silent disco sessions

– Family-friendly karaoke

– Circus skills workshops

– Special performances tailored for younger audiences

Also on site are face painting and glitter stations

We’ve put a lot of thought into making Ayclive convenient for parents:

– Re-admission policy: Drop off tired little ones with a carer and return to enjoy more of the festival – you must be wearing a valid wristband and re-enter before last entry.

Bring your own refreshments: Pack a picnic in a coolbox to save on food costs

– Comfortable seating options: Bring your own chairs or picnic blankets

Ayclive is designed with families in mind:

– Predominantly flat festival site for easy navigation

– Buggies and kids’ trailers/carts are welcome

– Ample space for families to spread out and relax

Our family-friendly atmosphere is reflected in our incredibly low crime rates and wonderful community spirit. We take pride in creating a safe environment where families can relax and enjoy the festivities. Security and first-aiders are present on site.

– Anyone aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18

– There is no separate entrance for families, so please allow plenty of time for arrival

– Check our website for the full schedule of family-friendly activities and performances
