Location and Terrain
Ayclive Festival takes place at OakLeaf Sports Field in Newton Aycliffe.
The site features:
- Large flat areas
- Numerous accessible walkways to the site entrance
We recommend preparing for various conditions when deciding what to bring to the festival.
Disabled Viewing and Facilities
To enhance the experience for our guests with accessibility needs, we offer:
- Private viewing area
- Accessible toilets
- One carer comes free (with registered disabled persons)
- Free parking (display your blue badge)
Entry and Navigation
We’ve designed our festival to be as accessible as possible:
Stewards are available to assist and direct visitors
All entrances have accessible entry points
Assistance Dogs
We welcome guide and assistance dogs at Ayclive Festival:
We kindly request that assistance dogs wear their identifying harness or jacket during the event
Only guide/assistance dogs are permitted on site
Seating and Comfort
To ensure comfort for all attendees:
Plenty of seating areas are available throughout the event
Camping chairs and similar seating are allowed on-site
Important Information for Families
– Anyone aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18
– There is no separate entrance for families, so please allow plenty of time for arrival

Parking
We offer dedicated parking for visitors with accessibility needs:
Stewards will direct you to the appropriate parking upon arrival
