Steve White (TFM, The House of Dance)
Steve is a true legend of the North East dance scene, having DJ’d in Darlington bars and clubs throughout the 90s and 00s. With 16 years in commercial radio—starting at A1FM/Alpha Radio, then Galaxy, TFM, and Magic 1152—Steve knows how to work a crowd. After a break, he’s back on air with “The House of Dance” on Nostalgia New York, spinning classic dance anthems for fans old and new.
Mark Hanson (DJ Sparky)
Obsessed with vinyl since age 3, Mark—aka DJ Sparky—has DJ’d across Sunderland, Darlington, and Stockton, including legendary residencies at Mardi Gras and Orleans Nightclub. He’s currently producing new dance music, runs two event venues, and hosts a dance radio show on NOVA Radio North East every Thursday night.
Martin Norris (Mardi Gras)
Born and bred in Newton Aycliffe, Martin’s DJ career has taken him from Aberdeen to Leicestershire, but he’s best known locally for his nine-year residency at Darlington’s iconic Mardi Gras Nightclub. He now hosts 90s dance anthems on Aycliffe Radio and organises Mardi Gras reunions, bringing the classic club spirit to new generations.
These three will be spinning the tunes, leading the games, and making sure the party never lets up between acts. Whether you’re on the dancefloor or just soaking up the atmosphere, you’re in for a treat!
