Martin Guy: From Gatecrasher to Ayclive
Martin Guy, a versatile DJ and producer hailing from Nottingham, now calls Shildon home. With an impressive career spanning years, Martin has held numerous residencies, most notably at Gatecrasher Loves Nottingham.
His talent has earned him warm-up sets for renowned artists like Judge Jules.Currently a resident DJ for Ultimate Bounce North East, Martin has shared lineups with industry heavyweights such as Andy Whitby, Nathan Abbott, Rossi Hodgson, and Jon Fazak. His high-energy sets are a perfect blend of classic tracks and sing-along vocals, guaranteed to keep you dancing all night.

DJ Gibson: Durham’s Multi-Genre Maestro
We’re excited to welcome DJ Gibson to the Ayclive decks. Hailing from Durham, UK, DJ Gibson has made a name for himself as a versatile and talented multi-genre DJ. His impressive resume includes performances in five different countries and at some of the world’s biggest clubs, including the renowned Altromondo Studios in Italy.
DJ Gibson’s sets are a thrilling mix of Big Room, EDM, and commercial House, guaranteed to get your heart racing and your feet moving. As a resident DJ for I Love Tour, a massive student-based sports tour in Italy and Croatia, he’s no stranger to energising large crowds. His experience playing at some of the North East’s biggest student nights makes him the perfect addition to our Friday lineup.

Nathan Abbott: The 90s and 00s Specialist
We’re delighted to welcome back Nathan Abbott for his second year at Ayclive. With over 30 years of experience in the nightclub industry, Nathan has become a local legend in Newton Aycliffe with his successful ’90’s Floor Fillers v 00’s Clubland’ brand.
Nathan’s events have brought big names to Aycliffe, including Andy Whitby, Kelly Llorena, and Karen Parry. Known for creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, Nathan’s sets are a nostalgic journey through the best dance hits of the 90s and 00s.
You can catch Nathan Abbott twice on Friday night:
- From 8 pm to 9:30 pm, where he’ll warm up the crowd with classic floor fillers
- And again from 10:30 pm to 11 pm, closing out the night with high-energy clubland anthems
Clubland Reborn: The Main Event
The highlight of our Friday night lineup is undoubtedly Clubland Reborn. Taking the stage from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm, this act promises to transport you back to the golden era of clubland with their exhilarating live show.
Clubland Reborn celebrates the iconic hits from the 90s and early 00s dance music scene, delivering a set that’s packed with nostalgia and energy. Get ready to sing along to all your favourite club anthems and relive the magic of the clubland era.
