Ayclive 2024: A Celebration of Music, Community, and Resilience
On Saturday 27th July 2024, the OakLeaf Sports Complex was transformed into a vibrant hub of music and community spirit as hundreds of festival-goers flocked to Ayclive 2024. The annual music festival, now in its second year, proved to be a resounding success, drawing larger crowds and offering an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages.
A Diverse Musical Extravaganza
The festival boasted an impressive lineup that catered to a wide range of musical tastes. Headlining the event were the legendary soul group The Real Thing, who delivered a nostalgic and soulful performance that had the crowd singing along to classics like “You To Me Are Everything” and “Can You Feel The Force.”
Other standout performances included the all-female party band Jukebox Vandals, who energised the audience with their dynamic renditions of pop-rock hits, and The Angelettes, whose Motown tribute act brought the timeless sounds of The Supremes and Stevie Wonder to life. Local favourites The Turtle Zs and Fossil also rocked the stage, while Manchester Anthems paid homage to the Britpop era with their spirited covers of Oasis and The Stone Roses. Beyond Madness brought the nutty vibes of Madness to Ayclive Festival 2024.
