Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club formed around 4-5 years ago built from a group of musicians that had been playing on the local rock circuit for years. Bored with playing ‘the same old stuff’ we went back to the very earliest music that got us excited as kids on Top of the Pops. When everyone used to sit around the TV to see what was new or moving up and down the charts.

This meant we could play songs by all our favourite formative bands including A-Ha, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Gary Numan etc. We decided early on we wanted to keep a very ‘live sound’ and play the songs with that energy. We also wanted to play the very, very, best of the New Romantics and Synth Pop.

We have gone from strength to strength playing shows with and opening up for our childhood heroes and playing to as many as 20,000 people.
